Welcome Back and Thank you for Reading. In my previous blogs, we have covered many topics that can lead to better physical health and mental health. As we continue our focus on mental well-being, today we will discuss the benefits of positive affirmation. Positive Affirmation is a part of the seven steps of positive mental attitudes. Here's a list of those 7 steps:

1. Become an optimist - Instead of thinking the worst of everything, try finding the good in all things.

2. Become aware of self talk

3. Ask better questions

4. Employ positive self affirmations

5. Set positive goals

6. Practice positive visualizations

7. Laugh more

Our very last blog talked about step 3, asking better questions of yourself and others for clarity. We mentioned that its a tool that works well with step 2, which was positive self talk. So, today, we are moving on with step four and I hope everyone has had the opportunity to practice some of the steps so far. Keeping a positive and healthy mental attitude is a practiced process.

What Is Positive Affirmation?

A positive affirmation is a statement with emotional intensity. It can make imprints on the subconscious mind to create a healthy positive self image. It can also fuel the changes you want to make in your life. Here are some of the most significant positive affirmations I use on a daily basis.

1. I'm well blessed and highly favored
2. All things are possible through belief and prayer
3. I can accomplish any goal I set out to accomplish

And yes, if you are thinking that positive affirmations fall into place with positive self talk and asking better questions, you are absolutely correct. Here are a few tips you can follow to create your own positive affirmations. Following these simple tips will give you insight and will make you feel really good about yourself and accomplishments. Not to mention, its something fun to do.

1. Always phrase your affirmation in the present tense.

2. Always phrase your affirmations in a positive manner. Don't use negative words like can't, not, or no.

3. Do your best to link emotionally with your positive affirmations.

4. Keep the affirmations short and simple, but full of feeling and meaning.

5. Be creative

6. Imagine really experiencing what you are affirming.

7. Make your affirmation personal.

After reviewing these tips, practice employing positive affirmations by following the guidelines and write down five affirmations that apply to you. Speak your affirmations aloud and throughout the day often. Once you get into the habit, employing positive affirmations will become like second nature.

Thank you for taking a moment to read my employing positive affirmation blog. I hope you enjoyed it and hope even more that you will practice it so that you may take control over your total health. Be sure to read tomorrow as we move forward with step 5, setting positive goals. As always, please feel free to comment on any of the articles or ask questions. Complete Physical, Social & Mental Well Being - Ask Better Questions

Thank you for joining me. It shows that my readers are dedicated to taking control of their health. Last week, we started on our journey to making sure we keep our minds healthy. We discussed the seven steps to making sure we can be the best that we absolutely can mentally. And, so far, we went over steps one and two. The first step is to become an optimist. The second step is becoming aware of self talk. Today, we move forward with the third step, Ask Better Questions.

Here’s a list of the steps to a positive mental attitude:

1. Become an optimist - Instead of thinking the worst of everything, try finding the good in all things.

2. Become aware of self talk

3. Ask better questions

4. Employ positive self affirmations

5. Set positive goals

6. Practice positive visualizations

7. Laugh more

So, we are on our third step, and that means we should ask better questions. Our mental attitude is just like our bodies, it requires care and maintenance to stay fit and at its best. Conditioning our mind should be a constant in our lives. One way we condition our minds is by asking better questions. The most important factor in practicing this exercise is so that we are able to better understand. We must always try to understand others, but we must try even harder to understand ourselves.

Our last session on self talk discussed the step of asking better questions a little. That is because both steps work together as a powerful tool torwards a better mental attitude. In fact, one of the most powerful tools found for improving the quality of self talk and the quality of life is through a series of questions that were developed by Author Anthony Robbins and his book Unlimited Power.

Anthony Robbins believes that whatever question you ask, your brain will answer. For example, say that you are faced with a particular problem and you perhaps ask yourself the question, Why does this always happen to me? Your brain probably answers immediately. It answers to resolve the situation to make it better. Its basically a human tool we have to assist us in making better choices. So, asking better questions, would help you make better choices. And, this is not just something that works with you and you alone. It works on other people. If you ask another person a better question, you have the opportunity to receive a better answer from them and perhaps resolving a situation. This is an amazing exercise used in family therapy, couple counsel and so forth.

So, here's a list of questions that you can practice:

1. What am I most happy about in my life right now?

A. Why does that make me happy?
B. How does that make me feel?

2. What am I most excited about in my life right now?

A. Why does that make me excited?
B. How does that make me feel?

3. What am I most grateful about in my life right now?

A. Why does that make me grateful?
B. How does that make me feel?

4. What am I enjoying most in my life right now?

A. Why do I enjoy that?
B. How does that make me feel?

5. What am I committed to in my life right now?

A. Why am I committed to that?
B. How does that make me feel?

6. Who do I love?

A. Who loves me?

7. What must I do today to achieve my long term goals?

These are great questions to practice. Personally, this little exercise assisted me in getting better organized in my business endeavors. The last question, number seven is a question I ask each and every day when I wake up. Although the questions seem a little repetative, they are indeed thought provoking, especially if we are not conditioned to think this way on a normal basis.

Now would be a great time to get yourself a planner. One like the Franklin Covey Planner that has tools on setting goals, self talk and asking better questions. The tools allow you to write down the questions and answer them and lets you keep a constant visual so that you become conditioned to thinking in this new way. They also have a book called, The Seven Habits of Highly Effective People. This is a thought provoking book that will certainly get you on your way. I'm putting a few tools on a carousel for all my readers to gain easy access to. And of course, you can always go back and read my previous blogs for tips and tools.

Until tomorrow when we discuss employing positive affirmations,

Happy Sunday Everyone,

Today I'm sort of discussing a television show I ran across. Last week, we started our topic on Physical, Social and Mental well-being. We are into the mental well-being portion of this topic and started discussing various steps towards a healthy mind. However, today I'm deviating away from the steps a little to talk about this show I came across because it's becoming the latest trend in mental illness.

The show is called Hoarders. It's a very entertaining show that enters the lives of people and their homes because they have been classified by family members as hoarders. They send a camera into the homes of these people as well as various mental health doctors in an attempt to get them to clean up their home and to understand why they have become hoarders. Most of the time, the hoarding according to the professionals come from various triggers in their lives such as loss or loneliness and even illness. Their family members are completely fed up with the living conditions and have basically put the hoarder on blast for the world to see.

Some of the people hoard due to shopping, some hoard food and others even hoard animals. The homes are in the worst shape imaginable. There is disease in many of the homes due to dead rodents, some have so many pets that they died and became burried in the home, some had food stored for years and refused to throw it away thinking they could still eat it. Clean up crews entered many of these homes and removed tons and tons of trash.

Some hoarders were at risk of losing their homes, some were at risk of losing their children, some family members walked out on them, never to return and the most drastic for some was possible death due to the terrible and diseased conditions. According to the professionals that attempted to assist these people, they were afflicted with mental illnesses. However, they always start the program by letting you know that not enough is known about hoarding to effectively help these people. Many of them face long term therapy and some simply refuse the entire process.

Many of these hoarders are professionals. There were teachers, some worked for the Government, some were on disability and some basically worked to support their hoarding habit. But, the thing that struck me after getting over the entertainment factor and the shear shock of seeing such living conditions was a little personal and historical to me. I remember as a child living in a really nice family oriented neighborhooh in Long Island, New York. Most of the families kept foster children and many of the homes were occupied by complete families containing a mother and a father. Usually the father worked and the mother tended the home.

However, every so often, you would see the State go into those homes and remove the children stating that the living conditions were not adequate. Basically, the state pretty much tagged these homes and the occupants as nasty and disgusting. That was it, no help was offered, no therapy was offered, they were just tagged as plain and simple nasty. The thing that really grated at my nerves after watching this show and then thinking back to my childhood is that now, these professionals are trying to make inadequate living and nastiness a mental disease. The question that ran through my mind was that if I did not wash dishes for a year and simply decided it was because I did not want to, would that make me a hoarder or would it simply make me lazy?

So, I'm asking everyone that reads this blog to look at the show when you have a moment and send me your comments on what you think. Should this hoarding become the newest mental illness fad?

Tomorrow, we will get back to our regular topic and please send your comments. You can post them below.

Complete Physical, Mental & Social Well Being - Optimism or Pessimism

SkinCubed.com

Thanks to all who continue to read. Thus far, we have traveled quite far on our path to feeling good. We blogged about basic vitamins, hydrotherapy and juicing. But, that is not all there is to feeling and looking our best. Today, we start off with a new topic regarding the four corner stones of good health. Its not enough to simply exist, but we want to exist at our best. And, that starts with good mental, physical and social health.

Our first topic of the corner stones to good health will guide us to a discussion on mental health. Recently, I went to the Social Security office to check on my employment records. I left there feeling utterly disturbed after speaking with a few people during our long wait. Most people were there regarding their SSI benefits. SSI benefits are for people who are disabled but have never really worked enough to pay into their social security fund. Basically, its a benefit supported by tax dollars.

After speaking with quite a few people and listening to their problems and complaints, I asked many of them why they were receiving SSI. Approximately 90% of those people informed me that they suffer from some form of mental health illness. There seemed to be a high trend of severe bipolar disorders, psycosis and other mental health illnesses. This is why I felt it important to start of with mental health. Its costing our nation billions of dollars each and every year. And, it is a very sad situation to be a nation full of so many mentally unhealthy people.

Another thing that struck me as kind of odd was the newest mental health issue called bipolar. It was as if people at that office were wearing it as a badge of honor. Many of them often told me gladly that they are bipolar. Now, I'm not sure if for many of these people these are their scare tactics or just a form of self protection, but it just did not seem like something to be too happy about. But then again, if you are getting a free check for a new disease that no one seems to know too much about, that would be cause to be happy.

So, going into this blog, we start of with mental health and stability. A positive mental attitude is the real foundation for optimal health. As humans we have a drive to be the best that we can be. Achieving mental stability begins by taking responsibility for your own positive mental state, your life, your current situation and your health. What this means is that nobody but you can make you happy. Not a doctor, not a drug. Of course, these may be used as tools to teach you, but its all up to you in the end.

There are seven steps to a positive mental attitude:

1. Become an optimist - Instead of thinking the worst of everything, try finding the good in all things.

2. Become aware of self talk

3. Ask better questions

4. Employ positive self affirmations

5. Set positive goals

6. Practice positive visualizations

7. Laugh more

Are you an optimist?

The first step in developing a positive attitude is by becoming an optimist rather than a pessimist. Being an optimist can help prevent diseases, can help the healing process progress much faster and have a healthier outlook on life in general. So, how do you know whether you are an optimist or pessimist? A small and immediate test you can do to figure this out is by asking yourself honestly.

1. Do you accept responsibility for your own mistakes or transfer the blame?
2. Do you doubt most things?
3. Do you look at the view point of others and try to understand their situations?
4. Do you think immediately that something will not work?
5. Do you uplift others in their thoughts and ideas?

By answering these few questions, you can get a good idea of whether you are optimistic or a pessimist. But, there is an in depth test that I found very interesting, detailed and that actually led to a self knowing. I actually found this test in a book called Encyclopedia of Natural Medicine. The test breaks it down by asking several questions, then goes even further when scoring by letting you know whether you are a temporary or permanent optimist or e temporary or permanent pessimist. I suggest it to everyone who is interested in bettering their health because good health is also about knowing yourself in depth. Many of us do not know who we are because we never think deeply or ask ourselves questions about ourselves that require much thought.

So, I encourage everyone to stop thinking about others for a moment and concentrate on yourselves. We owe it to our bodies and minds to be the best that we can be. We owe it to ourselves to know ourselves better than any other person should know us. And, if you think about it, that is one of the best things you can do in a relationship. If you allow someone else to know you better than you know yourself, you have given that person control over you.

Hopefully, you all enjoyed this session of my blog. Please join me tomorrow when I move on to the 2nd of the 7 steps of positive mental health called Self Talk. By breaking it down into the steps like this, we all have time to absorb and practice what we read. So, go ahead, get your optimism on, it takes practice to change a learned behavior.

As Always,

Thanks to all who continue to read my blogs on nutrition and more healthy alternatives to eating and staying fit. Yesterday, we finished off our vegetable juicing guide and discovered that carrots may be mixed with almost any other vegetable to make healthy drinks. We also learned that juicing has many health benefits and lots of healing properties. We learned that another juice, the green juice is an awesome detox tool. So, if you missed any of these previous blogs, you may always check out my website blog page at http://www.bargainsdirectly.com/blchopma.html or simply look to the right and click on the topic you want.

So, moving on with the final portion of our juicing guide, we discuss juicing fruits and its benefits. Creating healthy fruit drinks is probably one of my favorite things to do. Its not only healthy, but delicious too. It replaces the urge to eat the junk food we sometimes consume too much of and offers a tasty treat. There are so many things you can do when creating fruit juices. My favorite is freezing them in ice trays and making Popsicles for the kids or making an afternoon fruit smoothie as a treat.

However, there are a few important tips to remember when juicing fruit. First and foremost, do not combine your fruits with your vegetables when juicing. And, for the best health benefits, like fruits should be juiced with like fruits. For example, melons with melons, acid fruits with acid fruits and sub acid fruits with sub acid fruits.

Here's a list of fruit types according to their category:

Melons - Cantaloupes, watermelon, honeydew

Acid Fruits - Strawberries, raspberries, blueberries, pineapples, grapefruit, oranges, lemons, tomatoes and boysenberries

Sub Acid Fruits - Mangoes, peaches, plums, pears, green grapes, dark grapes, papayas

VitaminEmporium (drugstore.com, inc)

Fruit Juices and the Benefits:

So, now that we have a basic concept of fruit and the categories they fit into. We can begin juicing. Remember, this is only a partial list and you should feel free to mix the fruit with other fruits according to their categories to create your own delicious treats.

Apple Juice - Helps to clean the blood and acts as a natural laxative.

Pineapple Juice - Fights congestion and removes mucus.

Cranberry - Fights cancer, cleans the blood, great for the bladder and cleaning of the kidney.

Papaya - Helps relieve indigestion.

Grapefruits, Oranges, Lemon - Helps immediately lower blood pressure, especially the lemon, fights colds and builds the immune system, clears sinus congestion, and clears vaginal discharge.

Grapes - Cleans the blood and aids in the elimination of mucus residue.

As mentioned earlier, try mixing the fruits according to category for tasty treats. An all time favorite of mine is a refreshing peach and mango juice.

1 Peach Washed and pitted
1 Mango Skinned

Place them both in the juicer and drink up. You will feel an automatic surge of energy that will last for hours. In addition, it makes a great in between snack, eliminating hunger and helping you get through until your next meal.

We mentioned in previous articles that in certain areas of the country, it is not always easy to get good quality, fresh fruits and veggies. However, there are many options and alternatives, like shopping online. Here's one of my favorite online grocery stores. They deliver right to my home, it saves me time and gas, keeps me from impulsive shopping for unhealthy treats and they accept coupons and club cards all online, allowing me to save a bundle.

Save $12.95 on your first order of $50 or more at Safeway.com.

This concludes our juicing segment, but be sure to join us as we discuss how the colors surrounding you in your home or in your wardrobe can affect your mental health. As always, we have a few resources for you, allowing you amazing savings.

Welcome back everyone. We ended last week with the start of our juicing blog. I actually like to refer to these blogs as the feel good, look good blogs. We previously discussed the basic vitamins our bodies need for optimal health. We then spoke of performing hydrotherapy at home and turning your space into a hydrotherapy spa. And finally, we are embarking on juicing our way to rejuvenation and transformation.

Get a free Restaurant.com $25 gift certificate with your $20 VitaminEmporium.com order! Offer ends 12.31.2010.

The juice we discussed last week was the green juice. I explained how to make it, how to drink it and the benefits of it. So, today we move forward with the carrot. The one most important thing I like about the carrot, is that it has so many benefits and can be mixed with so many other vegetables to heal various health issues.

First and foremost, I'm going to give you a little nutritional information on the carrot. The carrot has many nutritional and medicinal benefits. Carrots help prevent heart disease by reducing your cholesterol levels. It is a known fact that high cholesterol is a major contributor to heart disease. Also, because carrots have beta carotene, it is also known to reduce he risk of cancer. And, of course we all know its great for your eyes and its great for blood sugar regulation.

So, now that we know what carrots can do alone, lets look at how carrots work with other vegetables as a juice. After our lesson last week, you should have all looked into purchasing a juice extractor. Of course there are juice bars everywhere. But, how healthy can their juices be? The best juices are the juices you make and drink at home.

Carrot/Beet Juice
Don't let the sound of it scare you. Its actually delicious. Many people are surprised that the mixtures of various veggies can have such pleasant tastes. The carrot/beet juice cleanses and builds your blood. This is perfect for those suffering from anemia. First you must wash your vegetables well. Its best to use organic but organic is not accessible in all places. One of the saddest things I saw was how many places, especially in the deep south, outside the major cities, in towns like Hephzibah, Georgia was the lack of nutritional food. Even going into the so called major grocery stores in those small places seemed a little disappointing. The vegetables at these stores cost more than buckets of pork. For those living in places difficult to find fresh foods, here's an online alternate method. Buying in bulk will save you money as well.

But in any event, make sure you wash your carrot and scrape it. Then wash your beet and cut it in half. Place your beet and carrot in the juicer and let it drip into your glass. Once the final drip has stopped, drink the juice immediately so you get all the nutritional values. Contrary to belief, its not as expensive to juice as people think. Its actually cheaper than cooking and more nutritious. I always tell people to do the math.

If you were to actually cook a meal with beets and carrots, you'd probably uses 2 or 3 beets and perhaps 3 or 4 carrots. If you go to the grocery store and purchase carrots, its probably $1.99 per pound and approximately 4 carrots make a pound. Many of us would therefore buy two pounds of carrots and spend a total of $3.98. Beets would probably cost you $1.99 per pound with 2 beets making up a pound. So, you would probably buy 2 pounds or in other words 4 beets, spending another $3.98. You have just spent $7.96 at the store on two vegetables.

You take them home and on day one, you cook your 4 carrots and 2 beets for dinner. On day two, you cook the remaining 4 carrots and 2 beets. Then you are out and on your way to the store again to buy some more. However, if you juice your vegetables, you get more servings per purchase. Lets say you spend the same money and buy the same quantity of carrots and beets. On day one, you juice 1 carrot and half a beet for lunch and repeat the same thing at dinner. On day two, you repeat the same process. By the end of day two, you still have 4 carrots and two beets left over, enough to last you another 2 days. So, instead of going to the store every other day, spending $7.96 each trip, you are going only every 4 days.

If you take those amounts and add them up. Here's what you would get going to the store every other day averages out to going 15 days per month. Spending $7.96 during each of those 15 trips would cost you $119.40 per month. However, going to the store every 4 days only averages to 7 trips per month, meaning that you are only spending $55.72 per month. That is a huge difference during this time when every penny counts. Not only are you saving big, but you are getting a more vitamins by not cooking them out, you are saving preparation and cook time, allowing you to focus on other things and the list of benefits just goes on and on. So, let us continue with other great carrot juices.

Carrots/Cucumber/Parsley
Helps to relieve water retention and aids in kidney healing.

1 Carrot
1/2 cucumber (remove the skin if waxed)
1 bunch of parsley

Throw it all in your juicer and consume immediately.

Carrots/Celery
Aids in stress relief and promotes relaxation.

1 Carrot
1 Stalk of Celery

Carrots/Radish/Horseradish
Clears congestion from lungs

1 Carrot
2 Radishes
1 tsp horseradish

Carrots/Ginger (this is a favorite for me and I also throw beets in for my anemia)

Keep in mind that this is an acquired taste. Ginger is very strong and takes some getting use to, but its also very powerful.

The carrot and ginger alone increases circulation, but throwing in the beet cleanses the blood in addition to increasing circulation.

1 Carrot
1/4 Cup Ginger
1/2 Beet

Carrot/Leak
Helps eliminate high blood pressure.

3 carrots
2 pieces of leek ( for those not familiar with a leek, it is of the onion family)

Carrot/Turnip
Relieves arthritis in the joints.

3 Carrots
1 Turnip

Carrot/Cabbage
Eliminates indigestion.

3 Carrots
1/2 Head of Cabbage

So, there we have it. Carrots can be combined with almost anything to make a very useful juice. Remember, it takes time getting into the habit. Juicing worked best for me and allowed me to feel and see results when I slowly incorporated it into my daily living. I drank the green drink as discussed in my last blog for two weeks straight. By doing this, I was able to replace two meals per day and lose weight. Also, I was able to immediately feel the fatigue leaving my body, something I felt on a daily basis.

After two weeks, the will to continue feeling good also increased. This is when I incorporated my carrot, beet and ginger juice into my daily routine. So, twice a day I drank the green juice and once per day, I drank the carrot, ginger & beet cocktail. During this two week period, I'd felt better than I ever had, I lost more weight and my anemia was under control. And, I did not have the urge to eat burgers or candy. It was as if my body began to adapt to a new lifestyle.

Well, that is it for the day. Our next blog will discuss fruit juicing and how we benefit from it. As always, we can't leave without providing you with some resources below. These are tools and discounts that will help you get on the path to healthy living the easiest and most cost effective way possible.

Hydrotherapy to Restore & Purify Naturally

VitaminEmporium (drugstore.com, inc)

SkinCubed.com Arise & Shine Herbal Products

Thank you for those who joined me on my vitamin segments. I hope you found the information useful and enlightening. We are never too old to learn and during my research on vitamins, I too discovered additional things. As promised in my last blog, we are moving on from vitamins, after covering the basics to the feel good segment. We will start out with one of my favorites, hydrotherapy.

What is Hydrotherapy?

Hydrotherapy is defined as restoring and purifying yourself with the use of water. Hydrotherapy may be used as a form of detoxification, stress relief and mind restoration. Warm water soaks can be relaxing, allowing you to relieve yourself of stress. Salt baths can draw out toxins, stress and anxiety to promote a state of serenity. Have you ever taken a hot bath and simply soaked? Have you ever noticed what happens to you? You perspire or sweat. Perspiration is one of the bodies most natural ways to cleanse your body. One of the best ways to sweat out the toxins is through hydrotherapy. And, it can easily be done at home. People pay lots of going to a spa when they can create their own spa experience at home.

How to Create A Hydrotherapy Spa at Home?

Creating a hydrotherapy spa at home is simple, fun and rewarding. There are so many ways to create your at home spa, but I'm going to explain how I created mine, just to give you ideas and get you going. In addition, at the bottom of the blog, I will have resources on where you can find some of the items at the least expensive prices.

My hydrotherapy spa is in my own private bathroom. Its a do not enter zone for my daughters. They have their own bathroom to do with what they will. However, if you only have a single bathroom with children, its best to establish boundaries from the start. The first thing I did was to decorate my bathroom with meaning. I carefully chose my colors, lavendar and green. The reason I picked these colors is because green stands for energy and lavendar stands for royalty. And, because I'm always lacking energy, I felt like the green would be the best choice for restoration. Lavendar was chosen because I believe all women should feel like royalty.

So, I decided to get wall appliques in those colors. They were designed as lavendar flowers and green foilage or leaves. I placed them on the walls of my bathroom in an attractive dispay as well as on my white bathroom cabinets. Next, I cleaned and cleared my bathroom countertops after discovering that the less clutter you have, the less stress you feel. I then placed green and lavendar pillar candles on the counters. I then got a wicker basket and placed lavendar potpourri in it. The scent of lavendar is especially soothing after a hard day of work.

Finally, a nice bouquet of lavendar colored silk flowers and on the counter a small cd player. And in the counter drawers, I placed classical and smooth jazz music. The softer the music, the more soothing it is to your mind, allowing you to completely relax. I then got myself an oil burner and large bottles of pure, uncut lavendar and eucalyptus oils. Aromatherapy and hydrotherapy work wonders when used together. The shower curtains, the bathroom rugs, the towels and the soaps were all in accordance to my green and lavendar color scheme. You see, the decor and ambiance is equally as important as the physical act of the therapy because, when you feel like you are surrounded by beauty, your attitude becomes beautiful. Hydrotherapy is not only about the physical, but its about the mental temple as well.

How to Finally Decompress with Hydrotherapy

First, I start by running a tub full of hot water, as hot as I can stand. I make sure I have my smooth jazz softly playing and my candles lit. All the lights in the bathroom are turned off, allowing the room to fill with the soft light of the candles. I place a large bottle of water with lemon squeezed in it next to the tub. After the tub has filled with water, I then add a few drops of pure essential lavendar oil and a pound of dead sea salt or epsom salt. I soak in the tub for approximately 30 minutes with my eyes closed and my mind in deep relaxation mode. While soaking in the tub, I drink approximately a pint of of the lemon water to enhance the cleansing. Finally, after soaking, I begin a body massage from head to toe, allowing myself to mentally and physically release all negative situations from my body temple.

After I'm done with my relaxation techniques, I let the water out the tub. At this time, you will notice how much you sweated. This is a good thing because that means you released toxins from your body. Next, I turn on the shower, and wash using hot water, a little more lavendar oil and handmade lavendar soap. I tthen turn the water to a slightly cooler shower and rinse off, allowing my pores to gently close.

This exercise is best praticed at night, right before you go to bed because you will feel too relaxed to do anything else. It will also be one of the best night sleeps you ever experienced.

However, if you are one of those people who have a hard time waking up in the morning, try taking a shower using the pure essential eucalyptus oil. It will immediately awaken your senses and get you going. Always rinse with slightly cool water before heading out for the day. You want to make sure your pores are closed, not allowing the dirt and poisons from pollution to easily enter your body through your skin.

Again, thank you all for taking a moment to read my feel good blog. I hope it will inspire you all to feel your best. As promised, here are a few resources so that you can experience amazing hydrotherapy sessions right at home. But, we girls know that a trip to the spa is always great too.
